This intense program focuses on developing the skills necessary to safely deploy a combat shotgun during tactical operations and personal defense situations. This course covers the tactical use of pump action and semi-automatic shotguns, and provides students with the knowledge required to use their weapon system in an operator capacity.

During this course, we will teach students the different types of ammunition available for shotguns and their uses. There will be a strong emphasis on reloading techniques, and transitioning to a secondary weapon. We will also briefly cover the use of breaching and less lethal rounds. Two of each type will be supplied to each student.

This course assumes that you already have a basic understanding of your weapon including how to field strip it, clean it, zero (if applicable), and basic functionality.
